Digital storybook wedding albums in flush mounts is one of the products I offer to my brides here in Toronto and the GTA. Doing such albums is a teamwork between me and the couple, after the wedding and once the photos are available for proofing, the bride will have to choose the photos that will go into their album, on average, I ask them to have 3 photos per page, e.g. a 30 side album needs around 90 photos, we section the book into preparation of the bride and groom, the church, the park and then the reception. Once I get the chosen photos I lay it out, I prefer the classic style of square frames and clear borders as I find these are timeless, I can however be more creative if the bride wishes, but what looks impressive now might look cheesy many years from now, this is why I prefer the classic boxed design. Once the final design is approved by the bride, I send it off to the printer where it takes 4 to 6 weeks to ship back to me. This whole process from photo selection to design to print and deliver takes around 3 to 4 months.
I am ending this year's wedding season with photography for Mike and Jen of Oakville ON. Jen is one of the most organized bride I have worked with so far, everything was planned and arranged for the wedding so it's only fitting that her wedding was a glorious November day, perfect! Photo coverage started at her house in Oakville, then at the "" Catholic Church, we proceeded to Gairloch Gardens also in Oakville for the park shoot and ended the day at the "" Reception Hall in Oakville. I am happy to have met and worked with Mike and Jen and I guess they are happy too.
"We got our pictures and we couldn't be happier.
You did an amazing job!  We especially like the pictures that you used the flash while we stood on the rocks with the lake and clouds at our backs...wow...it looks like a page out of a magazine.Â
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for going the extra mile and being so patient and fun to be around.
You have captured our memories that will be cherished forever.
Thank you
Jen & Mike
P.s. If one day you decided to have a section on your web page with compliments to your work, let me know.
You definitely deserve the credit!!
Your dream of being the best photographer in T.O, in our opinion you already are!!!!"
My coverage for Rob and Michelle's wedding started at the St. Christopher's Parish Church in Mississauga near Lake Shore. This wedding is particularly challenging for me as lighting at that day was really bad due to the weather, our park shoot literally was over in minutes as we were trying to dodge the rain. Oh well, I did the best that I could with the condition presented to me. Reception followed to Le Dome in Oakville. Props to Michelle for still being a happy bride despite the bad weather and having a cold at her wedding day.
I will be covering Rob and Michelle's Wedding on October 3. Her maid of honor and sister Nikki got me to do my new idea, a Bachelorette Photoshoot Party, a great gift idea to start of any Bachelorette Party. We did the photoshoot at their house in Toronto. Basically, I set up a mobile photography studio and shoot the ladies while they were doing the pre party ceremonies. Some of the photos from the Bachelorette party.
It's been 14 months in the making but now Dennis and Joana's wedding was successfully held. They are the organized type couple with everything from flowers, reception to wedding photography and video planned and executed to the T. Over the months since they contracted me, we have been in constant communication. I can say this wedding was a successful, fun and emotional one especially for the bride. The itinerary for the day was fluid, we started at the Delta Hotel Toronto East for the preparation then Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kennedy Road for the ceremony, proceeded to Unionville in Markham for the park shoot and finally at the Markham Entertainment Center. We will be working together on the flush mount digital album and parents album, they already have their digital files and as they said when they picked it up, "Thank you very much for the great job! We are more than satisfied and happy to have hired you, you did not work for us, you were with us".
Last saturday August 22 the Pinoygraphers Canada Chapter held their summer shootout in Hamilton Ontario, one of our members Jocelyn Lopez invited her clients to model for us in a Trash the Dress themed photoshoot. It was rather difficult as most of the time we were there we were soaked in the rain, a few minutes of sunshine was all we had to get a few shots. Thank you to all the members of www.pinoygraphers.com in Canada who came out. Special thanks to Jaki Enrile for hosting this event.
